Tavola is an app design created to help college students overcome the barriers of cooking, limited skills, tight budgets, and busy schedules. The app makes cooking more accessible and enjoyable by combining hands-on workshop events and a recipe library into one intuitive platform designed specifically for the student lifestyle.

Designing an app to address multiple pain points at once—limited culinary knowledge, time constraints, and the intimidation of not knowing how to cook—required a thoughtful approach. The goal was to create a simple, intuitive interface that seamlessly balances event management with recipe exploration, while remaining accessible to students with little to no cooking experience, demanding careful UX decisions at every stage.
